Headmaster's Welcome

It is with great pleasure that I have joined Broadoaks British School and I am honoured to be your new Headmaster. I encourage you to explore our new website and discover the excellent Academic and Co-curricular Programs offered by our school.

The Director of Schools, Board of Directors and Staff have worked very hard to establish Broadoaks British School as a well-known, first-rate educational choice for students and parents. Broadoaks offers such an inclusive, academically challenging and selective, co-educational British-style Day Education to some 150 national and international students from years Reception - Year 6.

I am excited to lead the school into the next stage of its development, and work with the Board and Staff in achieving its Strategic Plan and Vision.

Broadoaks British School is a  purpose-built, well-resourced campus, with state-of-the-art facilities, and is located in a safe and secure environment.

Our mission is to develop responsible global citizens, and to cultivate leadership through academic and operational excellence.  The Broadoaks Family of teachers, board members, non-academic and academic staff and friends of the school community work together in a collegial manner to achieve this goal.  Everything we do is student-centered.

Although academic achievement is our priority, we also place emphasis on a comprehensive Co-curricular Activities Program where there is something to offer every student, whether it is academically related, sports or other activities of interest.  The overall school atmosphere is exciting and vibrant where teaching and learning is designed to educate the “whole child.”  Our core values of a broad and balanced curriculum in a secure and hygienic environment, underpin the school’s philosophy and practice.

In this time of Covid-19, BBS has taken every precaution to protect our students and staff. We implement the recommendations of World-wide Health Organizations in every regard.  Safety is our priority. So please work with us in the interest of the entire School Family.  Together, we will get through the challenges, and learn to manage them in a spirit of mutual assistance, cooperation, respect and understanding.

If you are a current or prospective parent,  I  would like to meet you.  Please feel free to drop by and say “Hello!” In as far as Covid-19 Guidelines permit, I practice an “Open Door Policy” every morning from 8am to 9.30am. No appointment necessary. Just drop in!
