Broadoaks British School Curriculum
At Broadoaks British School, we are committed to offering students a world class learning experience. Students take part in a balanced and broad curriculum, based around the UK National Curriculum for England and Wales, and the Cambridge International framework, which is used in over 160 countries worldwide. This exposes them to a wide range of important global issues and provides a strong academic basis for future study.
Our curriculum is tailored to suit the needs of our client base. By following the National Curriculum for England and Wales, we ensure that the highest standards of international education are upheld. Additionally, we extend our students’ learning by further encompassing essential skills such as entrepreneurship as well as critical thinking and team building activities through our Forest School Programme.
Our lessons are taught in a fun and engaging way through thematic teaching and active learning. Assessment is standardised, with children sitting the International GL Assessments at the end of each year. Students leaving Year 6 will take the Cambridge Checkpoint Assessment, providing an internationally recognised certificate to mark the end of their primary education.
We take a hands-on approach to learning, ensuring a solid foundation is laid and individual progress carefully monitored at every stage.
