The student council at BBS provides all students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organising and carrying out activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body elected to share student ideas, interests and concerns with the wider school community.
The Prefects are elected from Years 5 and 6, with class reps being chosen for Years 1 - 4. Children chosen to be a part of the student council are expected to uphold the school's core values of excellence, integrity and kindness at all times, leading by example and helping their peers. They work closely with the school leadership team to give the student body a voice and contribute ideas to improve their school community.
